Entitled Engaged Couple Force Friends To Cancel Their Musical Festival Plans for Their Wedding Date, Then Uninvite Them From the Ceremony and Change the Date

When your best gal pal sends a save-the-date for her wedding, it's only right to, well, save the date. If you have existing plans for the date of their wedding, it's not really your fault. Planning a wedding takes times, so you'd hope that your gal pal would give you a good amount of time before the date to plan accordingly. It's not okay when you are forced to cancel existing plans, and then end up getting uninvited from the ceremony. Now, you're without the fun plans you were forced to cancel and a day of nothingness while the ceremony is happening. 

The woman in this story dealt with a similar story 15 years ago. She expressed that she and her boyfriend were into the music festival scene and had one scheduled for early July. Her friends told her the news of their marriage, and that she should save the date for July 7th—the same day as a music festival outing the woman had planned with her boyfriend. The woman originally stated that she couldn't make it, but was convinced to cancel her vacation plans so she could attend. Closer to the wedding date, her friends informed her the wedding was now close family only and wouldn't even be on the same day.
